Less is a performance that takes you into the world of circus in an exploratory way, in a search of a new physical language.

In Less, the physical language between two pair acrobats and a tight wire artist is in focus as they engage with their shared working height of two meters.
With a steel structure and specially composed music, created from the sounds of the tight wire structure itself, a suggestive and intimate work emerges where repetition and change are explored in a 360-degree perspective.

The artists´presence is palpable and their constant movement is filled with care and necessity. The audience is invited into a nearly meditative state that arises when each small movement or support becomes an action crucial for moving forward. It serves as a reminder that we often need others to progress, and that within vulnerability, there can be both strength and community.

The performance is based on an artistic research work initiated at SITE Sweden in 2023. Where the 3 artists have explored their circus disciplines with the ambition to re-examine and evolve the approach to their previously held conceptions of them.

LESS can be played both inside and outside.

In the outside version the tight wire structure becomes an architectural element that interacts with the existing environment.
